Soccer

Gainbridge Super League

After a one week break, the Gainbridge Super League is back in action. Lexington SC is on top, though level on points with second-place Spokane Zephyr. Both clubs are two points ahead of Fort Lauderdale United and Sporting JAX, who round out the top four with 12 points apiece. That’s a huge second season improvement for both Spokane and Lexington, who didn’t come close to playoff contention last season. They’ll have a chance to separate themselves even further from the rest of the pack this weekend. Spokane will face Carolina Ascent and Lexington will face Sporting JAX. No matter which way these matches go, we’ll be looking at a very different table next week.

Thursday Oct 30 at 9p ET: Spokane Zephyr FC vs. Carolina Ascent FC

Friday Oct 31 at 6p ET: Lexington SC vs. Sporting JAX

Saturday Nov 1 at 7:30p ET: Fort Lauderdale United FC vs. Brooklyn FC

Sunday Nov 2 at 5p ET: Dallas Trinity FC vs. DC Power FC

Premier League

Liverpool once looked like a lock at the top of the Premier League table, but they have now lost four straight matches and dropped to seventh. Meanwhile, Arsenal netted their fourth consecutive win last week and now sit four points ahead of second place Bournemouth. Yes, Bournemouth. The Cherries have been on fire this year, but holding onto their spot in the Top Four will be difficult with Spurs, Sunderland, and Man City facing winnable matches this week. The most exciting of which will be Spurs hosting Chelsea. It’s been a big year for Spurs, who spent most of last season in the lower half of the table only to be a mainstay in the top four in 2025–26. The Blues have been more up and down, but they’ve faced some pretty big teams already and come out ahead. London derbies are always thrilling, but especially when both clubs are as good as this.

Horse Racing

Breeders’ Cup

The final major event of the horse racing season brings out some of the biggest names in the sport. Fierceness, Journalism, Forever Young, and more of the horses who’ve made a big impact this season all gather at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club for a spectacular season finale. The Breeders’ Cup World Championships features 14 races over two days. Horse racing fans have a long offseason ahead, but there’s no better way to close out an excellent year.

Two-time world champion Illia Malinin hopes to take his second gold medal of the season. He’ll compete against Georgia’s Nika Egadze, Japan’s Kao Miura, and more. Over on the women’s side, Isabeau Levito hopes to claim her first gold of the season, but Japan’s Ami Nakai and Yuna Aoki won’t make it easy. With the Winter Olympics on the horizon, these events carry even more importance, and these skaters will be at the top of their game.

Hockey

Notre Dame Hockey

The Fighting Irish hockey team improved to 3–2–1 last weekend with a win and a tie in their series against Robert Morris. Now Big Ten play starts against one of their biggest rivals. The Michigan Wolverines are consistently one of the strongest hockey teams in the conference. They’re 7–1 on the season, and only just lost their first game last week against Western Michigan. Notre Dame smells an opportunity to turn that into a streak though. They’ll be fired up to beat their rival in front of the home crowd this weekend.

Friday Oct 31 at 7p ET: Michigan vs. Notre Dame

Saturday Nov 1 at 6p ET: Michigan vs. Notre Dame

Football

Big Ten Football

Fill your Saturday with some of the most exciting college football games in the country. It all starts at noon with Rutgers vs. Illinois. The Illini fell out of the rankings last week after back-to-back losses to No. 1 Ohio State and Washington. Now 2–3 in the conference, they’re hoping to end the season with a positive record. Expect the crowd to be fired up to watch their team win at home when the Rutgers Scarlet Knights come to Champaign. Then, it’s time for Big Ten Saturday Night. No. 23 USC fought their way back into the rankings and are now 3–1 in the conference. After last week's loss to No. 12 Notre Dame, they need to bounce back this weekend to stay up. Especially with a tough end-of-season schedule ahead, including this weekend’s away game against Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are coming off a 28–21 win over Northwestern and would love to send a relative newcomer to the Big Ten home with a loss in primetime.

Saturday Nov 1 at 12p ET: Rutgers vs. Illinois

Saturday Nov 1 at 7p ET: USC (23) vs. Nebraska

Watch Big Ten Football on Peacock.

NFL

Sunday Night Football takes us to Summerfield, MD to see the Washington Commanders host the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams have played some exciting football this year, though the Commanders aren’t quite repeating the level of success they saw last season. They’re third in the NFC East, though they’ve played one more game than the second-place Cowboys. They have a late bye week this season, so there’s still time for this team to get the season back on track and take advantage of any rivals’ missteps. The Seahawks are currently tied for first in a very competitive NFC West. Fresh off a bye week, they’ll need to build some momentum before heading into a stretch of rivalry games and tough opponents.

Sunday Nov 2 at 7p ET: Seattle Seahawks vs. Washington Commanders

Sunday Nov 2 at 11:30p ET: Peacock Sunday Night Football Final

Rugby

International Rugby Union

With the Quilter Nations series coming up, national rugby teams are gearing up to face some of the best squads from the southern hemisphere. Before all that, we’ll be treated to a couple big international clashes in U.S. stadiums. Six years ago, USA beat Scotland, then ranked No. 6 in the world. Now, Scotland is back for revenge, but the U.S. team can hold their own with the world’s best. They’ll be especially fired up to deliver another upset in front of the home Washington D.C. crowd. Then, watch two massive rivals face off at Chicago’s Soldier Field. Ireland will face New Zealand. Both are legendary rugby sides, so we’re in for a hard-hitting, action-packed match between some of the world’s best.

Saturday Nov 1 at 1:40p ET: Scotland v USA

Saturday Nov 1 at 4p ET: New Zealand v Ireland

Saturday Night's Main Event

WWE’s biggest Superstars are back to light up your Saturday night. This edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event brings us to Salt Lake City for a night full of absolute bangers. True to its name, every match feels like a main event. We’ll see Drew McIntyre challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. We’ll also see CM Punk and Jey Uso meet in the ring for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. This feud has been boiling for a while and now everything is on the line as these two Superstars meet in the ring. Then there’s Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. These are two of the biggest talents on the WWE roster, so this match has the potential to be an all-timer.

Basketball

NBA

We’ve got four more NBA thrillers this coming week, with more nights to catch your favorite stars in action. The first is a special Saturday night game in Mexico City. The Dallas Mavericks face the Detroit Pistons on Dia de los Muertos. This game combines the tradition and festivity of Dia de los Muertos with some of the most exciting NBA action of the early season. The Pistons are now 3–2 after defeating the Orlando Magic, and they’ll try to get a streak going against the 2–3 Mavericks. The Mavs themselves just took down the Indiana Pacers, so both teams want to use this game to build some momentum. Come back for Peacock NBA Monday to see the Minnesota Timberwolves face the Brooklyn Nets. At time of writing, the Nets are still seeking their first win. The Timberwolves have won two, but have dealt with some scoring struggles of their own. And of course there’s Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, featuring a doubleheader of Magic vs. Hawks and Thunder vs. Clippers. No matter what time zone you’re in, this one’s worth staying up for. No one really cares about Wednesday anyway.

Saturday Nov 1 at 10p ET: Dallas Mavericks vs. Detroit Pistons

Monday Nov 3 at 7p ET: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Brooklyn Nets

Tuesday Nov 4 at 8p ET: Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks

Tuesday Nov 4 at 11p ET: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers

Motorsports

NASCAR

The final race of the NASCAR season is here. After a tight playoff race, the Championship Four is set. Denny Hamlin, Kyle Larson, William Byron, and Chase Brisco will fire up their engines on Phoenix Raceway. One will walk away as the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion. Larson is going for a rare second Cup Series Championship, while the other three drivers are chasing their first. No matter who wins, this will be historic. With the playoff format potentially changing, we might be in for a whole different race next season.
